Touring Car Paint
Finishing
We undertake both World Touring Car
and British Touring Car work. As
with all of our jobs, the car's colours and lines are
marked out using tape to ensure continuity
between different parts of the car.
Measurements are then taken from the
touring cars and used when respraying the cars
during
the rest of the racing season so that
the cars looks the same for the whole
season which is important for sponsors.
After the parts are marked out, our
objective is to paint the car with minimum possible weight
added, firstly
with a coat of white primer, then with
the final colours.
Once painted, it is then placed in one
of our low-bake ovens and after
cooling, the parts are then polished
extensively.
