MotoGP Paint Finishing
When we undertake MotoGP Paint
Finishing work, the
bike's colours and lines are
marked out using tape to ensure continuity
between different parts of the car.
Measurements are then taken from the
MotoGP bike fairings etc and used when respraying the
bikes
during
the rest of the MotoGP season.
After the parts are marked out, our
objective is to paint the frame and
fairings with minimum possible weight
added, firstly
with a coat of white primer, then with
the final colours.
Once painted, it is then placed in one
of our low-bake ovens and after
cooling, the motorbike parts are then polished
extensively to ensure a high gloss
superior finish. As with the
car-based motorsports, the parts we paint are
supplied with smooth colour changes because of
the aerodynamics involved.
We can also paint the rider's helmet to your
design if required.
